The rollout of our Corporate Bowel Screening Program at Accolade Wines has attracted great media coverage in the Riverland, spreading our prevention message even further.

Nick’s presentation last week to 300 Berri Estates winery employees has received coverage in today’s Murray Pioneer and on ABC Riverland radio.

An in-depth radio interview with ABC Mornings presenter Narelle Graham explored the story behind the Foundation and the benefits of our Corporate Bowel Screening Program. Nick explained to listeners just about how easy the at home screening test is to complete, and how important it is given the fact that bowel cancer can be present for a long time without any symptoms.

The Murray Pioneer also covered the story, with Berri Estates general manager Wayne Ellis commenting on how committed the company is to raising awareness of bowel cancer and protecting their workforce from the disease. It focuses on how Nick uses his emotional personal story to encourage people to take action and screen for bowel cancer.

Most of the employees who attended Nick’s presentation took a screening test away with them, which is a good indication that the Program was well received.
