Professor Graeme Young has been named SA Power Networks SA Scientist of the Year at the Science Excellence Awards. This award recognises an individual who demonstrates outstanding excellence in any field of scientific endeavour and who has made a significant national or international contribution to their field of research.

Professor Young has an outstanding career in research into colorectal cancer and bowel health. He has been a champion locally and internationally for improving the uptake of bowel cancer screening programs.
