CarnEVIL Port Lincoln: Scare for a cause

We’re thrilled to announce that the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation is the official charity partner of CarnEVIL 2026!

CarnEVIL isn’t your average Halloween event – it’s a twisted, spine-tingling, scream-inducing family fright fest like no other. For one night only, the ordinary will be transformed into the extraordinary, hosting a carnival of anarchy where laughter meets fear, and every corner hides a surprise. An afternoon of thrills and chills for all ages, CarnEVIL is a Halloween adventure the whole family will never forget.

At the heart of CarnEVIL is a powerful purpose – raising vital funds for the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation. Fighting for the prevention and early detection of bowel cancer in South Australians.

For event organiser, Laura Theodore the connection to bowel cancer is a deeply personal one:
“Since our highly successful first CarnEVIL event in 2025, one of our friends has since been diagnosed with bowel cancer in his early 40s and we wanted to help raise important funds and awareness for bowel cancer prevention and early detection by welcoming Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation as our charity partner this year.”

Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation CEO Rachel McKay said:

“CarnEVIL may be designed to scare people for a night, but the reality is that bowel cancer is far more frightening. Unfortunately it is now the leading cancer killer of Australians aged 25 to 44, and we’re seeing diagnoses in younger people more than ever before. That’s why awareness, prevention and early detection are so important.

We are incredibly grateful to CarnEVIL for choosing the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation as its charity partner and helping us take this life-saving message into regional communities. Together, we can save lives.”

Time: 3pm – 11:45pm
Location: Gardner’s Vineyard, 368 Haigh Drive, North Shields, South Australia
Tickets: Gold coin donation to the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation requested for entry to the Kids Zone. Tickets required for Lockdown and CarnEVIL: The Purge. Purchase tickets here.
Food trucks will be onsite, and drinks can be purchased from the Gardner’s Vineyard Cellar Door.

KIDS ZONE FREE TO ENJOY – 3pm onwards

CarnEVIL: The Purge 8pm til late (11.45pm approx)

U18 requires parental permissionAt sunset the lights dim, music slams and the fear rises.CarnEVIL: The Purge is not for the faint-hearted. This experience plunges you into a fog-filled nightmare, lit only by UV, strobes and sinister glows.Disturbing figures taunt the darkness – stalking, chasing, and popping out when you least expect it.Heavy metal music sets the mood outside, alongside purge-themed horror visuals, building suspense before you even step inside.And beware… our scare actors may pay a visit while you wait in line!

⚠️ The Purge includes horror themes, strobe lighting, smoke effects, jump scares, and music with explicit language. Children under 18 are recommended to be accompanied by a parent or guardian OR have parental consent!⚠️

Note: Little ones are recommended to remain in the Kids Zone. If you are looking to participate in the Purge, bring along a friend/family member to hang out with your children while you enjoy your maze experience
