When Jodi died of bowel cancer a few years ago, Alistair Cavill promised Nick Lee that he would do something in Jodi’s name to honour her.
That something has meant entering his first 4 Deserts event – the Gobi March 2011 – and raising over $30,000 for The Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation in the process.
Alistair, a Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation board member, finished the Gobi March ranked in 37th place.
A remarkable effort for this week-long, 250 km race across the world’s most forbidding landscapes and harshest climates.
