Leading wine distributor, Accolade Wines, is joining the growing list of companies choosing to protect their workforce from bowel cancer through our Corporate Bowel Screening Program.

Accolade Wines this week launched the Program nationally, where information sessions were held and screening kits were offered to all of its Australian employees.

It’s great to see Accolade Wines investing in the health of its workforce, with more than 700 employees taking part in the Program nationally, and almost 300 in the Riverland region.

We have learnt of many screening success stories since we launched the program in 2011, where medical interventions have taken place and lives have been saved.

Bowel cancer is Australia’s second biggest cancer killer, claiming the lives of more than 4,000 people each year, but it’s a highly preventable and treatable disease if caught early.

We are very proud of the impact our Program is having on the business community in South Australia and nationally, with major corporates and smaller businesses alike seeing the benefits of protecting their workforce from bowel cancer.
