The Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation has been selected as the host charity for the ANZ Community Ball. Money raised on the night will support our bowel cancer prevention initiatives as well as a number of other local charities including Backpacks 4 SA Kids, Royal Flying Doctor Service Central Operations, LifeChanger, United Way SA and Hutt St Centre.

Around 30 volunteers are required to help out on Saturday 14 March, during the day and throughout the evening at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Volunteers will be be provided light meals and drinks during your shift and in the evening will entertained by James Morrison and his Motown Band.

Choose from the following available roles;

4.45pm -11.00pm (approx)

A volunteer briefing will be help at 5.00pm

Dress code is black pants and ANZ polo shirt

Table Manager: 

Responsible for acting as the main point of contact for guests on allocated tables

Assist with queries relating to the silent auction items on GalaBid (online auction system),  including how to register to bid and view items on a smartphone

Promoting the sale of raffle tickets (prize is a car)

Act as a spotter for the live auction which involves alerting the auctioneer to bids on your tables and if the successful bidder is on your table, completing the auction form and collecting payment

Silent Auction Assistant:

Assist guests in placing bids using the GalaBid online auction system via iPad or guest smartphone

Assist as additional spotters for the live auction which involves alerting auctioneer to bids on nearby tables

Packing up all items once the silent auction closes

Collecting and handing over auction items to successful bidders once payment has been finalised, under the direction of a supervisor

Car Raffle Assistant:

Assist guests with purchasing raffle tickets via GalaBid or BladePay devices, stationed next to the car

Gin and Whiskey Bar:

Collect payment from guests using BladePay Devices

Wine Wall:

Selling raffle tickets for the wine wall and handing wine to guests
