Richard has over 25 years investment banking, investment and leadership experience. Richard recently returned to Sydney from Hong Kong in 2021 (after 25 years) and recently founded Midkey Funds Management, an innovative lender to Australian residential real estate. Prior to leaving Hong Kong, Richard was Head of Financial Sponsors and Cross Border M&A for Macquarie Capital in Asia. Richard was also a director of Macquarie Capital’s major regulated operating entity in Hong Kong serving as the “Manager in Charge” of all corporate finance activities.

In addition to varied advisory and capital raising roles Richard led, and had board representations, on several successful principal transactions for Macquarie Capital and prior to joining Macquarie worked with ABN AMRO in their Telecoms corporate finance team and PwC in restructurings and advisory groups.
