Vote for Sophie Edwards – Westfield Local Hero

We’re thrilled to share that our incredible Ambassador, Sophie Edwards, is a 2025 Westfield Local Hero finalist for Westfield Marion!

Please vote for Sophie and support the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation. Your vote could unlock a $20,000 grant to co-create a powerful TikTok campaign aimed at educating young Australians about bowel cancer prevention and early detection.

Bowel cancer is highly preventable and treatable, yet it’s the second deadliest cancer in Australia, and the #1 cancer killer of Australians aged 25–44. We need to change these stats, and we need your help.

As a survivor, Sophie brings courage, compassion, and lived experience to her advocacy. She’s helping others detect bowel cancer early and face it with strength.

Vote now here. It takes less than 20 seconds!

Sophie’s message:
“I’m so excited to share that I’ve been nominated as a finalist for Westfield Marion’s Local Hero!

In 2022 I was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer at just 34 years old.

After fighting through it, I’ve made it my mission—together with the Jodi Lee Foundation—to raise awareness for early onset bowel cancer, to encourage people to take their health seriously, and remind everyone that cancer does not discriminate.

If sharing my story prevents even one person from going through the pain, scars, PTSD, and challenges that I have, then it makes every battle I’ve faced a little easier to carry.

This recognition means I can keep reaching more people, start more conversations, and hopefully save more lives—but I need your help! Please take a moment to vote for me and support this mission.”

Thank you to Westfield for recognising local changemakers like Sophie.
