CLUBS OF THE AFL UNITE FOR BOWEL CANCER

Often it’s only one or two degrees of separation between us and someone we know or love who have been impacted by or lost to bowel cancer. The message in our new campaign is simple. It may be your mother, father, grandmother, uncle or friend who has been impacted by the disease. And by taking a simple screening test you can help prevent bowel cancer and save a life. See the campaign here.

THE JLF TREK VIC WRAP UP

Last weekend over 200 passionate JLF Trekkers hiked 65km, 22km and 8km along the Great Ocean Walk in the name of bowel cancer prevention. Over $105,000 has been raised so far! Relive the memories or see what you missed here.

A BOOK ABOUT REAL FOOD

For those who are looking for a fun, rhyming children’s book that teaches kids about the benefits of eating real food, we can’t go past Mr Gwokomo’s Food Secrets. It is authored by local South Australian, Tom Slowinski, who 5 years ago, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer at the age of 28. Thankfully he is now in remission. Tom will donate $5 to us for every book sold online up until the end of October 2018. Why not start your Christmas shopping early and grab a copy for your children, grandkids, niece or nephew! Shop online here.

WANT FREE STUFF?

Of course you do! Sign up for our Camino Challenge from now until the end of October 2018 and you will receive a $100 North Face voucher. Don’t miss this experience of a lifetime walking the ancient path of the pilgrims in May 2019. Sign up today.
