Registrations are open for our SA Hiking Challenge, a two-day event along South Australia’s famous Heysen Trail.

In 2014, our team will hike 80kms along the stunning southern Fleurieu Peninsula coast on 23th and 24th May 2014, all in little black tutus!

The hike starts at the southern end of the Heysen Trail at Cape Jervis, covering roughly 40km each day. The trail takes us along the south coast, passing through the Deep Creek and Newland Head Conservation Parks, ending close to Victor Harbor. Tackle it running or hiking, it’s completely up to you. And don’t worry, help will be stationed along the way where you can grab a snack, refill your waterbottle and attend to basic first aid needs. If you run out of puff, you can be rescued from these checkpoints.

For the mad keen runner, last year’s winner set a cracking record of 42.5 kms in just 6 hours, and that’s over the ABC Mountain Range!

On the last night you will enjoy a celebratory dinner featuring local wines and fresh produce at a secret location.

We do ask that you raise some money to help us continue building awareness about bowel cancer and are grateful for all of your efforts. Be creative with your fundraising and have some fun. We are here to help you as much as we can.

Most importantly, simply by joining our events you are helping. So if you’ve been thinking about getting involved, please get in touch.

To register or for more information, email [email protected]. A registration fee of $150 will confirm your place in the Challenge.
