Congratulations to JLF Ambassador Kellie Finlayson on her upcoming book, ‘There Must Be More’, set to be published on 29 April.

In 2021, Kellie, with a three-month-old daughter, found herself staring down the barrel of a terminal diagnosis: Stage 4 bowel cancer. She was 25.

Rather than letting it define her, Kellie turned her journey into a powerful mission to raise awareness of bowel cancer – Australia’s second-deadliest cancer and the leading cancer killer among 25–49-year-olds.

As an Ambassador for the Jodi Lee Foundation and the face of our ‘Trust Your Gut’ campaign, Kellie continues to inspire us with her resilience and determination – encouraging everyone to listen to their bodies and seek medical advice when something doesn’t feel right.

We’re honoured to have contributed a few words to Kellie’s book, where she bravely shares her experience of being dealt a devasting blow, being knocked down and yet getting back up again.

Posting a photo of herself holding a copy of her book for the first time, Kellie wrote: “While I’m excitably calling it my book, it is so much bigger than me, it’s a voice for so many that have and still are walking this road. I’m so proud of the work I’ve done, how I’ve responded to this otherwise devastating diagnosis, I’m so proud of the legacy I’ll leave and this printed version of my words will be just one way that I’ll do that ❤️‍❤️‍”

Congratulations, Kellie – we couldn’t be prouder, and we can’t wait to read it.
