Fifteen years of life-saving impact.

Today we honour 15 years of life-saving impact

Fifteen years ago today, the Jodi Lee Foundation was born out of unimaginable loss and unwavering purpose.

Jodi was only 39 when she was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She tragically passed away just before her 42nd birthday, leaving behind her husband Nick and their two beautiful children, Jack and Arabella.

The most heartbreaking part of Jodi’s story is that her cancer could have had a different ending if her bowel cancer had been detected early.

With that simple fact as the driving force, the Jodi Lee Foundation was established.

Since 2010, the Jodi Lee Foundation has become a leading voice in bowel cancer prevention and early detection, reaching millions of Australians with powerful campaigns and programs that encourage people to:
– Be healthy and active
– Explore their family history
– Act on symptoms
– Take a simple bowel screening test

Our mission is clear: empower every Australian to take active steps to prevent bowel cancer and live healthy lives.

To everyone who has walked beside us over the past 15 years – whether you’ve shared your story, joined a JLF Trek, taken a bowel screening test, done our symptom checker, followed us online, had a conversation, donated, partnered with us, or attended or hosted a JLF Workplace Program – we thank you. Every action, big or small, has helped us save lives.

Together, we’ve turned heartbreak into hope.
Together, we’ve made a difference.
Together, we’ve saved lives.

Here’s to the next chapter of the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation – stronger, louder, and more determined than ever.
