We’re thrilled to announce Carlton Football Club players Levi Casboult and Cameron Wood have joined the Foundation as official ambassadors to help raise awareness of Australia’s second biggest cancer killer.
The pair is passionate about working with us to spread the message about the importance of screening for the early detection of bowel cancer.
Levi experienced first hand the impact bowel cancer has on a family when his uncle was diagnosed with the disease in 2014. The 24 year old now feels strongly about raising awareness to prevent other families from going through the same ordeal.
Cameron has thrown his support behind the Foundation after hearing Jodi’s story last year when Carlton Football Club ran our Corporate Bowel Screening Program.
Cameron is keen to help spread our prevention messages through his strong social media network.
Levi and Cameron will today join our Founder & CEO, Nick Lee, when he presents our corporate Program to employees at MARS Chocolate Australia.
The players will front our #iknowsome1 awareness campaign that will feature at the Round 18 clash between Carlton and North Melbourne on August 1.
