We’ve had some great coverage of our #iknowsome1 campaign as we head towards this weekend’s bowel cancer awareness match between Carlton and Gold Coast Suns.

Melbourne’s Channel Nine News featured a story last night on #iknowsome1 highlighting the support from AFL boss, Gillon McLachlan and Carlton Football Club in helping us raise awareness of bowel cancer. View the story here.

Today, Melbourne’s sports radio station, SEN interviewed Carlton great Andrew McKay, discussing the prevalence of bowel cancer and the importance of #iknowsome1 to raise awareness of the disease. You can listen here.

Some of Carlton’s young guns such as Dale Thomas, Mitch Robinson and Sam Docherty have already shown their support for the campaign by hopping on Twitter and using the hashtag #iknowsome1.

You can help us raise awareness too. If you know someone with bowel cancer, simply use the hashtag #iknowsome1 on Twitter or Instagram this week. Add a selfie, and you could win an iPad Mini! Read more here www.iknowsome1.com.au.
