Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation was extremely honoured to be one of 12 local charities at the ANZ Community Ball held last night at the Adelaide Convention Centre and hosted by Operation Flinders Foundation.
We were one of the six major charity partners, alongside Operation Flinders Foundation, Royal Flying Doctor Service Central Operations, Royal Zoological Society, SAHMRI and Hutt St Centre.
Hosted by Jessica Adamson, attendees enjoyed local South Australian wine and delicious food, as well as entertainment from James Morrison and his Motown band and the Scotch College Big Band.
Due to the generosity of everyone in the room, those bidding online for the silent auction at home, and the support of amazing volunteers, event partners and sponsors, the evening raised in excess of $350,000 to be split amongst the 12 charities.
We are extremely proud of our relationship with ANZÂ which has spanned many years and involved volunteering, golf days, educating employees, raising awareness and staff attending our JLF Trek.
Thank you to ANZ, Brendan Rinaldi, Andrew Kittle and the team at Peter Kittle Toyota, along with all sponsors and businesses involved, as well as everyone who got behind the event and supported its fundraising elements.
Together you have made a difference to the lives of so many South Australians.
