Kym passed away from bowel cancer in 2017 at just 37.
Kym was diagnosed only six months earlier after seeing his GP complaining of back pain.
Before his diagnosis, Kym was a fit and healthy father of six, who loved his young family, everything about life and had a passion for people, especially those who needed a helping hand.
Kym was a vibrant, hard-working and ‘life of the party’ person who also had a strong love of God. He was a talented musician, playing guitar and writing his own songs.
Because of his busy lifestyle, Kym thought the back pain was just due to his work. He was a baker for 15 years and then did a water delivery job around the mid north of SA which included lifting 15L bottles of water on a daily basis. Kym did not go to the doctor until it was far too late.
His children have grown up without their loving father, but he is still very much alive in them.
