A huge part of what made our flagship fundraising event, The JLF Trek & Trail Run, so special is the incredible community behind it.

This year, we had 16 amazing volunteers helping bring the event to life – the true backbone of the event. Quite simply, we couldn’t do it without them.

From registration, bus loading and checkpoints, to keeping everyone hydrated and fuelled, supporting logistics, guiding the way, and walking as our Tail End Charlies to ensure no one was left behind – they were there every step of the journey.

And alongside our event team volunteers, we were so fortunate to have our incredible volunteer photographer, Sandra Paterson, out there amongst it all on the trail and at checkpoints, and at the finish lines on both days. Sandra captured the spirit, emotion, and special moments of The JLF Trek & Trail Run so beautifully, giving us memories we’ll treasure.

Our volunteers all generously gave their time to support our trekkers and runners, and their impact was felt across every moment of the event.
