Introducing Poop Quiz
The Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation have developed an online workplace education program disguised as a gameshow, designed to educate Australians across the country, no matter where they live or work, about how they can help BEAT bowel cancer. Using engaging, easy to access content, Poop Quiz gives Australians clear, practical information about bowel cancer, helping them to understand their risk, recognise symptoms, and know what to do next. It’s health education made for real people, in real workplaces and communities, designed to be simple, engaging and actionable.

Why the Program Matters
Alarmingly, bowel cancer is the leading cancer killer in Australians aged 25-44, and the second deadliest cancer across all ages, yet it is one of the most preventable. When detected early, more than 90% of bowel cancer cases can be successfully treated. The problem is that many people do not know what symptoms to look out for, how to reduce their risk, or when and how to screen. Poop Quiz exists to close that knowledge gap and prompt earlier awareness and action.

How the Program Works (For Employees)
The program is designed to be simple, respectful and easy to complete:

  1. Participants watch a series of short, engaging awareness clips that educate viewers on how to BEAT bowel cancer.
  2. After each clip, participants answer a small number of questions (four clips in total, approximately three minutes each).
  3. Participants are then directed to bowel screening information and encouraged to complete the free online Symptom Checker.

No medical expertise is required.
No personal health information is ever captured or shared.

Poop Quiz for Community Organisations
Working for/with a community organisation and would like to educate your audience on BEATing bowel cancer? We also have a Community Version of Poop Quiz available, which includes one 15 minute video that your community members can watch and learn all about the steps they can take to prevent bowel cancer. There is no quiz component so it is straightforward to complete.
