Born between 1976 and 1980?

This one's for you!/

Aged 45-49? You’re officially eligible to opt in for a free bowel screening kit from the Australian Government – and October is the perfect time to do it.

This month, the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation is calling on all 45–49 year-olds to ‘Opt In In October’ to request their first bowel screening kit.

Why it matters:

Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in Australia. But when detected early, it’s one of the most preventable. The bowel screening test can detect signs before symptoms appear – and it’s free, quick, and done at home.

If you were born between 1976 and 1980, you won’t be automatically sent a kit like those aged 50–74. You need to opt in online.

Opt in in October!

It takes just 2 minutes, and it could save your life.
