Adelaide, SA – On Friday, 6th December, the Jodi Lee Foundation hosted a star-studded breakfast event, “Breakfast with the Rivals,” at the Adelaide Festival Centre. The event, held on the morning of the second Cricket Test against India, brought together over 200 cricket enthusiasts for a morning of laughter, nostalgia, and charitable giving.

The highlight of the event was the engaging Q&A session between cricket legends Merv Hughes and Lord Ian Botham, expertly moderated by Jodi Lee Foundation Ambassador Max Burford. The legendary duo shared hilarious anecdotes, insights into their careers, and their thoughts on the upcoming test match.

Beyond the entertainment, the event was a powerful platform to raise awareness about bowel cancer. Founder and Chair, Nick Lee, addressed the audience, sharing the Foundation’s key messages and urging attendees to act on symptoms for early detection.

Thanks to the generosity of guests, the event raised a significant $13,150 through raffle ticket sales and an auction for personally autographed cricket bats. The Jodi Lee Foundation would like to express its sincere gratitude to all sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who contributed to the event’s success.

The Foundation would also like to thank major sponsors Schiavello, Terry White Chemmart, and the Adelaide Festival Centre for their invaluable support in making this event possible.
