We are thrilled to inform our community that we have a newly appointed CEO, Kathryn Quintel.

After spending 12 successful years as the CEO of Alzheimer’s Australia, Kathryn was drawn to the Jodi Lee Foundation for a very personal reason.

Coming up to her father’s tenth anniversary since losing his battle with bowel cancer, Kathryn is now helping her mother battle the disease. Kathryn lives and breathes our mission, believing that education is key to combatting this deadly disease.

Having both experienced first-hand the life ending reality of bowel cancer, Nick knew Kathryn was the perfect candidate to take the Jodi Lee Foundation forward into 2018.

After seeing Kathryn speak at a not-for-profit luncheon, Nick and co-founder Tiffany Young knew she was the perfect person to take the Foundation to the next chapter. For Kathryn, Nick and Tiffany’s drive and achievements with the Foundation to date sold her.

“I was so impressed with how much the Jodi Lee Foundation had achieved and Jodi’s story really hit home for me” Kathryn says.

“With a family history of bowel cancer, the risk of myself and my siblings developing the disease increases 15-fold, so education and early screening for people like me is so important.”

Our mission is to empower people to take active steps to prevent bowel cancer and live long healthy lives. Education will remain at the heart of our endeavours, striving to eliminate the disease through early screening processes and saving lives.

Nick will begin 2018 in his new role as Chair of the Jodi Lee Foundation Board.

“For seven amazing and life changing years, we have been on a mission to empower people to take active steps to prevent bowel cancer and live healthy lives. We know Kathryn shares this same passion and drive and will continue the fight into 2018 and beyond.”

The next 12 months will see Kathryn and the team identify further opportunities for growth and expansion throughout Australia with the aim of saving as many lives as possible through screening and early detection.
