RAISING AWARENESS
AFL SEASON 2017

The Jodi Lee Foundation are proud partners with the Sydney Swans, Carlton, Brisbane Lions and North Melbourne AFL Football Clubs.

Over the past four seasons we have been breaking down the stigma sometimes associated with bowel cancer through the active role taken by our partner clubs and players through campaigns such as #iknowsome1 and Behinds Matter.

This AFL season we want to Make Bowel Cancer Disappear.

Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in Australia. Every week, bowel cancer kills as many Australian’s as breast cancer, ovarian cancer and cervical cancer combined. But it can be prevented.

In fact, 90% of cases can be successfully treated if found early.

Taking a simple screening test – recommended from age 50 – is the easiest way to make bowel cancer disappear.

The more tests that are taken, the less we’ll see of bowel cancer.

The Sydney Swans, Carlton, Brisbane Lions and North Melbourne are helping The Jodi Lee Foundation empower people to take active steps to prevent bowel cancer and lead healthy lives.
